「曲り屋の冬」

東北の冬は、厳しい。その長い冬の間にも、静寂な一時がある。

しんしんと降り積もった雪の朝、朝日が昇るにつれて田んぼ一面の雪の表面がきらき
ら、さらさら光出す。ゆったりとなめらかな曲線に覆われた田んぼは、誰の足跡もつい
ていない無垢の白さのままにそこにあった。

「おはよう」と、曲り屋の板戸を引き開ける。一瞬、肌を刺すような痛さを感じた。
でも風の動きはない。同時に、朝日に照らされた田んぼに目をやると、雪の光のまぶし
さに、待ち焦がれていたものに出会った喜びで心が満ちていくのが分かった。曇りの日
や雪の日の多い裏日本側では、冬場の太陽の光に出会えることが何よりも有り難く感じ
、しばしの間、心身の緊張が解け安堵感を持てる時なのである。「今日は、良く晴れた
なあ。山があんなに良く見える・・・。」

"The Magariya in Winter"


In Tohoku,it is a severe winter.

There is a moment of stillness during the long winter.

As the morning that the snow has been falling thick and fast,
in the rice field,the surface of the snow shines brightly with the
rising sun.

According to the pure whiteness without the any footprint,the rice
field was covered comfortably with the smooth curve of the snow.


When I opened the board door of "the magariya".

I said "Ohayou".

Momentarily,I felt the pain that my skin was stabhed.

However,there was no movement of the wind at the same time.

When I watched the rice field as the morning sun did.
My heart was filled with the joy that I had been waiting impatiently
for long time.


As the coast of the Japan sea,it is many cloudy day and snow in winter.
People respect to have the light of the sun in winter.
